From emulation movements to telling numbers
In recent years, Da Nang city trade union levels have coordinated with the government and businesses to widely launch many patriotic emulation movements among workers, civil servants, and laborers such as "Good labor, Creative labor", "Good advice, Good service", "Good at state affairs, Good at housework", "Green - Clean - Beautiful, ensuring labor safety and hygiene"...
It is worth mentioning that the movements do not stop at slogans or short-term launches, but gradually become substantive, associated with production and business tasks and professional work of each unit.
Mr. Le Van Dai - Standing Vice Chairman of Da Nang City Labor Federation - informed: In the past term, emulation movements have had many recognized initiatives and technical solutions, bringing benefits of more than 185 billion VND. 35 union members were awarded the Creative Labor Certificate by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and many individuals and collectives were honored in patriotic emulation movements.
These figures show that the emulation movement has truly become an environment for workers to promote intelligence, directly contributing to the development of businesses and localities. As one of the workers who has participated in the "Good Labor, Creative Labor" movement for many years - Mr. Nguyen Van Hai - a worker at a manufacturing enterprise in Hoa Khanh Industrial Park - said that what he feels most clearly from the emulation movements is the encouragement for workers to boldly propose new ideas.
“Previously, many people had initiatives but were hesitant to present or thought that their ideas were not important. When the trade union launched emulation movements and created conditions for workers to register for initiatives, we had more motivation to research and improve our daily work” - Mr. Hai shared.
Bridge to spark creativity
According to Mr. Le Van Dai - one of the outstanding results in the recent past is that emulation movements have become increasingly in-depth and created widespread spread.
We determine that the emulation movement is not only aimed at honoring outstanding individuals but more importantly at arousing the spirit of creativity, responsibility and aspiration to contribute of each union member and worker. When workers are given conditions to promote initiatives, they will directly contribute to the development of businesses and localities" - Mr. Dai emphasized.
According to Mr. Dai, in the context of digital transformation, innovation is becoming an urgent requirement, the Trade Union organization will continue to innovate the content and methods of launching emulation movements in a practical direction, associated with specific tasks of each industry and each enterprise.
It is noteworthy that the Da Nang Trade Union organization also sets a target that in the next term, there will be at least 50,000 initiatives applied in production, business and work; striving to have at least 25 Creative Labor Certificates awarded by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor. These figures show the aspiration to build a modern worker team, master science and technology, master digital transformation and become a pioneer force in socio-economic development of the city.
Da Nang Trade Union is gradually affirming its role as a bridge to unleash creativity, where each initiative is appreciated, each effort is recognized, and each worker has the opportunity to fully develop their abilities.
