This is an important political event, marking a new step in the development of the Lao Cai General Hospital No. 2 Trade Union in the context of the health sector continuing to innovate, requiring improvement of the quality of medical examination and treatment services, improving the working environment and increasing care for the lives of staff, civil servants and workers.
It is known that the grassroots union of General Hospital No. 2 under the Cam Duong Ward Union has 740 union members and workers working in 37 union groups.
Under the leadership of the hospital Party Committee, hospital trade union activities have developed strongly. Union members promote the spirit of solidarity and responsibility, successfully completing the Resolution of the 3rd Lao Cai Provincial General Hospital Trade Union Congress (term 2023-2025).
The Trade Union of General Hospital No. 2 has affirmed its role as a reliable support for employees and effectively coordinated with the government to build a civilized and safe working environment.
100% of cadres, civil servants and workers are provided with favorable working conditions and receive periodic health check-ups. The survey shows that the satisfaction rate of health care workers is 91%.
The work of caring for the lives of union members has always been focused on. The union visited and presented gifts to 55 policy families with a total value of 137.5 million VND; supported 43 union members in difficult circumstances during the Lunar New Year with 43 million VND.
In particular, in 2024, the Union supported 63 union member and worker families affected by storm No. 3 with a total amount of 126 million VND.
The "Good workers, Creative workers" movement has attracted a large number of workers to actively contribute initiatives and solutions to improve technical improvement, improve the quality of medical examination and treatment for people.
In the recent period, the hospital has 46 grassroots projects approved by the Department of Health; 432 grassroots initiatives; 25 provincial-level initiatives recognized. In particular, 17 solutions participating in the Creative Competition organized by Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation won many high prizes: 4 First prizes, 2 Second prizes, 5 Third prizes, 5 Encouragement prizes.
Entering the 2025-2030 term, the Lao Cai General Hospital No. 2 Trade Union has determined to continue to innovate the content and methods of operation; improve the quality of the trade union staff; protect the legitimate rights and interests of union members; promote propaganda and education; develop union members and build a strong trade union organization, contributing to the development of the health sector.
