On November 28, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lao Cai province held a conference to approve documents of the Lao Cai Provincial Trade Union Congress, term I, 2025-2028.
The conference was attended by Ms. Giang Thi Dung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lao Cai province.
At the meeting, Mr. Vu Cao Minh - Permanent Vice President of the Provincial Federation of Labor - presented the draft Political Report, Review Report of the Executive Committee, personnel projects and appendix system.
The draft is developed in the direction of closely following the Party's guidelines, the State's laws and policies, the orientation of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and the province's socio-economic development goals in the new period.
Delegates focused on giving comments on the group of goals, targets and key tasks of the 2025-2028 term.
Propose many solutions to innovate trade union methods of operation, increase care and protect the legitimate rights of union members and workers.
In her concluding remarks, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee - Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lao Cai province Giang Thi Dung acknowledged the serious preparation of the Provincial Federation of Labor and suggested continuing to review and edit documents in a concise and clear direction, demonstrating the determination to innovate, be creative and accompany workers.
She emphasized that the Congress documents must reflect the requirements of the new development stage and the aspiration to develop Lao Cai quickly and sustainably.
On behalf of the Provincial Federation of Labor, Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Nhiem - President of the Federation of Labor thanked the guiding opinions and said that the Standing Committee and the Standing Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor will fully absorb and complete the documents before submitting them to the Congress.
