In the afternoon of February 8, General Luong Tam Quang - Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Central Public Security, Minister of Public Security and Mr. Nguyen Dinh Khang - Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (VGCL) - and the working delegation visited, wished Tet and presented gifts to workers at Hung Yen Garment Corporation - Joint Stock Company (Pho Hien ward) on the occasion of the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026.
At the program, the working delegation presented 300 Tet gifts to workers, laborers in difficult circumstances, and typical laborers working at enterprises.
These gifts, although not of great material value, carry the concern, sharing and affection of Party and State leaders, and Trade Union organizations towards workers in Hung Yen province.
Among the faces of workers receiving gifts, the situation of Ms. Tran Thi Chuc (born in 1983, Group 14, Garment Enterprise 1B) moved many people. Ms. Chuc suffers from stage 4 lung cancer, her health is depleted, and she is currently having to take leave for treatment. Without husband, without children, for more than ten years attached to the garment industry, she has lived quietly, gently, and persistently with the disease.
I just hope to have enough health to continue treatment, to be able to take care of myself" - she said softly.
For her, Tet gifts are not only practical support, but also a great source of spiritual encouragement in the arduous journey of fighting illness.
Speaking at the program, General Luong Tam Quang sent Tet greetings to all employees of the enterprises, affirming that the gifts, although not of great material value, contain feelings, sharing and encouragement for workers to welcome a warm, fulfilling, joyful and hopeful Binh Ngo Tet 2026.
Within the framework of the program, the working delegation visited factories, production areas, where workers are working, directly grasped working conditions, production environment and the atmosphere of preparing to welcome Tet of workers.
The handshakes, greetings and presence of central leaders at the production workshop left many emotions, creating more faith and motivation for workers and laborers to enter the new year with a spirit of excitement, attachment and greater responsibility to businesses and the profession.
