Colonel Tran Nguyen Lai, Deputy Commander - Chief of Staff of Coast Guard Region 4 Command chaired the ceremony. A large number of officers and soldiers in the Region Command also participated in the meeting.
At the meeting ceremony, officers and soldiers in the Regional Command were briefed on the content, purpose, requirements, and significance of the Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health; watched documentaries promoting the Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health and the Workers' Month of the General Department of Logistics and Technology.
Speaking at the meeting ceremony, Colonel Tran Nguyen Lai, Deputy Commander - Chief of Staff of the Regional Command, emphasized that this time's theme is "Innovating management and improving the efficiency of occupational safety and health in the digital age". This is a requirement close to the current situation, requiring each agency and unit to continue to innovate management methods, strengthen technology application, proactively identify risks, control risks and prevent accidents right from the grassroots level.
Deputy Commander - Chief of Staff of the Regional Command also noted: In the past time, agencies and units have made many efforts in implementing occupational safety and health; linking this content with the task of training, combat readiness, building regular logistics, techniques and the unit's "Determined to Win" emulation movement. The awareness and awareness of complying with safety procedures and regulations of officers and soldiers have been gradually improved; training and practice of fire and explosion prevention and rescue plans have been concerned; the consolidation of warehouses, workshops, inspection of technical equipment, care for soldiers' health and environmental sanitation have been maintained more regularly.
At the same time, Deputy Commander - Chief of Staff of the Regional Command requested: Strengthen propaganda and education to raise awareness and responsibility for officers and soldiers on safety, occupational hygiene, fire and explosion prevention and occupational disease prevention; build a sense of self-awareness to strictly comply with safety procedures and regulations in all tasks; review and supplement plans, regulations, and safety assurance plans; clearly assign responsibilities; organize strict inspections of high-risk areas such as warehouses, workshops, power systems, gasoline, ships, boats, vehicles - motorbikes and equipment with strict safety requirements; promptly detect and overcome unsafe risks; strictly maintain safety procedures in training, drills, exploitation and use of weapons and technical equipment and performing tasks at sea; proactively practice plans for handling incidents, fires, explosions, and labor accidents; not to let unsafeties occur due to subjectivity.
