On August 22, the Dak Lak Provincial Federation of Labor announced that in 2025, the "Union Meal" program will be implemented with many innovations, associated with the establishment of grassroots unions. This is an activity to strengthen the connection between workers and the trade union organization.
Currently, the Provincial Federation of Labor has selected 4 enterprises for the pilot program, and it is expected that about 20 other grassroots trade unions will proactively organize this program.
Participating for the first time, Mr. Vo Thanh Phong - a worker at ASEAN Steel Joint Stock Company (Hoa Phu Industrial Park) - shared: "I am very happy to participate in the Union Meal. The delicious, nutritious dishes create excitement for workers.
In addition, I also received gifts and benefits from the Provincial Labor Federation and the company's trade union. This is a great source of encouragement, helping workers in difficult circumstances like us to be more enthusiastic about production, contributing to the development of the enterprise.
According to the Dak Lak Provincial Federation of Labor, this is the second year the program has been held, after the first time in 2024. The goal of the program is to care for and protect the legitimate rights and interests of union members.
At the same time, trade unions at all levels in the province continue to promote negotiations and the signing of collective labor agreements.
Most of the signed agreements have many practical contents, especially regarding wages, bonuses, personal insurance, etc. Notably, many agreements focus on negotiating to improve the quality of mid-shift meals.
Thereby, the rights of workers are guaranteed, contributing to building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations in enterprises.
