At noon on August 2, a traffic accident occurred on Dang Van Bi Street, Thu Duc Ward, causing 2 people to be hospitalized for emergency care and 1 person to die.
According to initial information, at more than 10:30 a.m. the same day, driver D. (42 years old) was driving a pickup truck on Dang Van Bi Street, towards Nguyen Van Ba Street. When reaching the One Colod Thu Duc Pagoda, Thu Duc Ward, he suddenly lost control and crashed into an electric pole, then collided with a motorbike, causing the man driving the motorbike to be thrown away with a pedestrian on the nearby road.
Immediately after the accident, people quickly helped the victim to go to the emergency room and reported it to the authorities.
At the same time, people quickly approached the driver of the pickup truck for first aid, but he died in the cockpit. The cause of the driver's death is believed to be a suspected stroke on the vehicle.
At nearly 2:00 p.m. the same day, Thu Duc Ward authorities were still present at the scene to extract camera footage, investigate and clarify the cause of the accident.
