More than 400 workers and laborers of Bui Van Ngo Food Industry Mechanical Company Limited (My Hanh commune, Tay Ninh) participated in the Trade Union Meal program organized by the Provincial Labor Federation in coordination with the grassroots trade union.
Each meal in the program is worth 55,000 VND, supported by both businesses and grassroots unions. This is not only a nutritious collective meal but also has the meaning of encouragement and practical care for the lives of workers.
At the program, the Provincial Federation of Labor also presented 30 gifts, each worth 1 million VND, to workers in difficult circumstances. The grassroots union also organized birthdays for 38 union members and workers with birth dates in the month, creating more cohesion in the collective.
Vice President of the Provincial Federation of Labor Pham Thi Quyen emphasized that the Union Meal is an opportunity for the Union organization and the Board of Directors of enterprises to listen to the thoughts and aspirations of union members and workers, thereby promptly accompanying and supporting. This activity helps employees feel secure in their work and stay with the company for a long time.
Through such programs, the Trade Union organization continues to affirm its role as a companion, caring both materially and spiritually for union members, workers and laborers, while promoting harmonious, stable and progressive relationships at enterprises.
