On August 5, the Standing Committee of the Ca Mau Provincial Federation of Labor held a conference to collect comments from trade unions at all levels and cadres and union members on draft political reports to be submitted at the 17th Ca Mau Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030.
Based on the study of the draft report and the orientation of the conference chair, the delegates highly agreed with the theme, motto, layout, and content of the draft Political Report. Many opinions assessed that the draft political report has comprehensively and fully reflected the achievements of Ca Mau province in the past term in all fields. At the same time, frankly acknowledge and point out the limitations and shortcomings...
Delegates also suggested that it is necessary to clarify the role of union members and workers in socio-economic development; and to more deeply acknowledge the results of leadership method innovation and administrative reform related to workers and trade unions, especially the mechanisms for supervision and social criticism from the Front and socio-political organizations.
For the goals, targets and tasks for the 2025-2030 period, opinions focus on proposing: Continue to build a clean and strong Party Committee; improve the effectiveness and efficiency of government management and operation; strengthen the innovation of the content and methods of operation of the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations; promote the strength of national solidarity; Propose breakthrough targets in infrastructure investment while integrating more development orientations for service centers for workers; add targets to simplify administrative procedures. Regarding the target of developing 20,000 enterprises, delegates said that it is difficult to achieve, should strive for the large quantity but need the quality and scale of the enterprise.
At the same time, it is recommended to add to the draft Party Congress documents solutions to improve the material and spiritual life of workers in the new context; mechanisms and policies to improve the quality of human resources, ensure social security, especially for union members and workers in enterprises and industrial parks.
Vice Chairman of the Ca Mau Provincial Federation of Labor Huynh Hoang Anh acknowledged the enthusiastic and responsible opinions of the delegates, and affirmed that the Provincial Federation of Labor will fully absorb the comments, synthesize reports to competent authorities, and make recommendations to add practical issues to the Draft documents of the Provincial Party Congress, close to the lives of union members and workers in the locality.
The conference is a practical activity to promote democracy, mobilize the intelligence of Party committees, Party organizations, cadres, Party members, union members and people, contributing to creating unity in ideology and action in the entire Party Committee, army and people of Ca Mau province before the Congress.
