On the morning of August 12, at the Hall of the Public Service Service Center of Kien Tuong ward, the Standing Committee of the Tay Ninh Provincial Labor Federation organized a Meeting of Trade Union Officials and the Karaoke Singing Contest for Trade Union Officials in Dong Thap Muoi area in 2026.
At the meeting, delegates reviewed the 97-year journey of building and developing the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2026), and at the same time informed about outstanding results in trade union activities in the first 6 months of 2026, orienting key tasks in the coming time. The program also created a forum for grassroots trade union officials to exchange, exchange and share experiences in organizing activities at units, contributing to improving the quality of trade union activities at the grassroots level.
One of the highlights of the program is the activity of giving 100 gifts to students who are children of union members and workers in difficult circumstances, including 50 primary school students and 50 secondary school students. The gifts not only show the concern of the Trade Union organization but also add motivation for them to overcome difficulties and rise up in their studies.
In addition, the program also propagates about preventing and combating black credit to improve knowledge and skills in preventing financial risks for officials, union members and workers.
The atmosphere of the meeting became more lively with the 2026 Karaoke Singing Contest for Trade Union officials. Contestants from grassroots trade unions in the Dong Thap Muoi area brought many elaborately invested performances, praising the Party, Uncle Ho, homeland and country. The contest not only created a healthy cultural and artistic playground but also contributed to connecting trade union officials, strengthening exchanges, learning and creating more motivation in performing tasks at the grassroots level.
Speaking at the program, Chairman of Tay Ninh Provincial Labor Federation Tran Le Duy acknowledged the results of trade union activities in the past time, and at the same time requested the team of trade union officials to continue to promote the spirit of responsibility, innovate the content and methods of operation, strongly focus on grassroots levels; regularly grasp the thoughts and aspirations of union members and workers; well perform the function of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers, contributing to building an increasingly strong Trade Union organization.
