On July 9, the Hai Phong City Labor Federation organized a training conference on negotiation skills and signing of collective labor agreements at enterprises for grassroots trade union officials in Tu Ky commune.
At the conference, Mr. Vu Ngoc Thuc - Member of the Standing Committee, Deputy Head of the Trade Union Affairs Committee of the Hai Phong City Labor Federation - exchanged views on the process, content and notes in the process of negotiating and signing collective labor agreements, and shared many experiences in handling situations arising at enterprises.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Duyen - Deputy Head of the Trade Union Affairs Committee - guides the method of scoring and evaluating the quality of collective labor agreements according to current criteria.
The training program also updated many new legal regulations, analyzed practical situations in collective bargaining and deployed many practical contents such as trade union work nghiệp vụ, operational organization skills, propaganda work, grasping union members' thoughts, disseminating policies and laws related to workers and building effective grassroots trade unions.
Trade union officials attending highly appreciated the practicality of the conference, believing that the shared knowledge will help improve the skills of representing and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of employees at enterprises.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Mai Linh - Chairwoman of the grassroots Trade Union of Indong FN Vina Company (an enterprise with about 900 employees) - said that through training, the unit has more basis to review new regimes and policies and contents that are more beneficial to employees but have not been included in the collective labor agreement.
In the coming time, the Trade Union will exchange with the board of directors to supplement and complete the agreement, contributing to improving the rights of workers.
