Hue Forest Protection Officers Receive Salary After More Than 3 Months of Debt

QUẢNG AN |

After more than 3 months of salary delays due to problems in the process of reorganizing administrative units, all 16 officers and employees of the Thuan Hoa - Phu Xuan Inter-district Forest Protection Department have been fully paid their salaries and insurance benefits.

On April 24, the Hue City Forest Protection Department informed that after more than 3 months of being in a situation of unpaid wages, by April 23, all 16 officers and employees of the Thuan Hoa - Phu Xuan Inter-district Forest Protection Department (formerly the Hue City Forest Protection Department) had been fully paid their salaries and insurance benefits. This is the result of the drastic participation of the press and the active coordination between functional agencies in Hue City.

Earlier, from January 2025, many forest rangers at old forest rangers such as Hue and Nam Dong fell into a difficult situation when they did not receive salaries and insurance regimes during the first 3 months of the year. The cause of this situation stems from the reorganization process of the administrative unit under Resolution 1314/2024 of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly and Resolution 175/2024/QH15 of the National Assembly, related to the establishment of Hue City directly under the Central Government.

The change in administrative boundaries when Hue City was divided into two new districts - Thuan Hoa and Phu Xuan, along with the merger of Nam Dong district into Phu Loc district, caused a series of disruptions in the organizational system, including the Forest Protection Departments. However, the process of converting and perfecting the organizational structure is slow, causing units such as the Hue City Forest Protection Department to not have an official decision on changing their name, and not be granted an administrative stamp - a mandatory condition for conducting financial transactions and salary payment procedures.

Upon receiving feedback from Lao Dong Newspaper, other press agencies and forest rangers, the People's Committee of Hue City urgently directed the Department of Agriculture and Environment, the Department of Justice and the Department of Home Affairs to coordinate in reviewing and removing obstacles. Through the handling process, all salaries and insurance regimes have been fully paid to the officers, helping to stabilize psychology and creating conditions for the forest rangers to work with peace of mind.
