Seaports are considered the gateway to the economy, playing an important role in global trade of goods.
In recent years, digital transformation at Da Nang Port has received great attention from the company's Board of Directors and has resolutely implemented many solutions to implement, aiming at the goal of "Centering customers" on the digital space platform, ensuring that customers have the ability to interact "anyway, anytime, anywhere" in the digital space.
By continuously improving processes and operations, Da Nang Port has brought customers new experiences, convenience, speed, simplifying document procedures, digitizing documents to achieve the goal of increasing service quality, delivering goods in the fastest way.
Following the success of the ePORT, AutoGate electronic port software... The port has completed projects on information technology (IT), digital transformation, and stable operation of the ePort electronic port system (Electronic Port) with targets reaching 99-100%.
The highlight is the installation of eTractor information receiving devices on all tractor-trailers from June 2023 to receive signals in the container ship operation line, to ensure traffic safety and save equipment investment costs; has successfully researched and built an online electronic car guard system eCPS using artificial intelligence (AI).
This is a project with low investment value but has scientific factors and high popularity in the seaport system, contributing to increasing ship exploitation productivity and ensuring labor safety for workers. Da Nang Port completed the installation on QCC4, QCC5 cranes from July 2023 and promoted efficiency in exploitation.
Da Nang Port has developed a strategy for IT development and digital transformation in the period of 2023 - 2025, with a vision to 2030. Strive to become a completely digital port by 2025 by applying many modern and advanced domestic and foreign technologies to apply to operations, exploitation and governance.

In 2024, Da Nang Port has put into use the ePORT Electronic Port software for CFS warehouses, providing online port services to customers and converting port services from direct to online, helping customers save costs, increase inheritance and synchronize data between departments.
Put into use a camera and identification system, fiber optic cables, checking points, control software in TS4: Automate the confirmation of the completion of unloading containers from ships to shore and loading containers from ships to ships, contributing to increasing ship exploitation productivity; at the same time recording images of containers to support disputes and avoid wrong deliveries; contributing to monitoring security and safety in ship exploitation.
Deploy electronic contracts to digitize contracts, apply digital signatures, and integrate them into the port's existing software.
Equip 14 RTG cranes with an automatic eCPS system: eCPS system for RTG cranes helps outside drivers, internal drivers and RTG cranes stop in the correct position, contributing to increasing RTG crane productivity, delivering containers faster.
Deploy eMap digital map software - Tien Sa Port digital map software and equipment participating in real-time container exploitation.
According to Da Nang Port, the application of technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), IoT, and Big Data can optimize ship operation, goods delivery, reduce waiting time and improve the ability to track and manage goods.
