On August 26, Ms. Duong Thi Minh Chau - Head of the Propaganda and Support for Participants Department (Hanoi Social Insurance) said that recently, Hanoi Social Insurance (Hanoi Social Insurance) has received feedback from a number of grassroots social insurance agencies, people, and workers in the city about some subjects impersonating social insurance agency officials calling to request the provision of citizen identification cards (CCCD), personal information to update on the VssID application - Social Insurance number or integrating health insurance cards into the CCCD; thereby, aiming to steal deposits in the bank accounts of participants, beneficiaries of social insurance, and health insurance.
In order to ensure the personal information of workers and people is kept confidential and avoid being taken advantage of and scammed by bad guys, Hanoi Social Insurance respectfully requests that units coordinate to inform workers and people in the area the following contents:
Hanoi Social Insurance and grassroots Social Insurance currently do not have a policy of calling, texting friends via zalo application or sending links, QR codes to support, requiring participants and beneficiaries of social insurance and health insurance policies to provide CCCD, personal information to update on the VssID application - Digital Social Insurance or integrate health insurance cards into the CCCD.
When there is a need to update and adjust personal information or problems, it is recommended that units, participants, and beneficiaries of social insurance and health insurance policies directly contact Hanoi Social Insurance, grassroots social insurance for support and can do so on the National Public Service Portal, Vietnam Social Insurance Public Service Portal, on the VssID application - Digital Social Insurance. Transactions and interactions of participants and beneficiaries of social insurance and health insurance policies with social insurance agencies through the above official channels are not subject to fees.
