Resuming the positions of union officials of 40 unions directly above the grassroots level

Hanoi The positions of union officials of 40 direct superior unions at the grassroots level for the 2023-2028 term of Hanoi have officially ended.

According to the Decision of the Standing Committee of the Hanoi City Labor Federation on ending the activities of trade unions at the grassroots level, 40 trade unions at the grassroots level have ceased operations. Along with that, the Executive Committee, Inspection Committee for the 2023 - 2028 term and the positions of Trade Union officials of 40 trade unions directly above the grassroots level will also be terminated.

In addition to the Labor Federations of districts, towns and cities (according to the list before July 1), there are also the Hanoi Civil Servants' Union, the Hanoi City Labor Federation's Union, the Hanoi Industry and Trade Union, the Hanoi Textile and Garment Trade Union, the Hanoi Transport Trade Union, the Hanoi Education Trade Union, the Hanoi Agriculture and Rural Development Trade Union, the Hanoi Construction Trade Union, the Hanoi Health Trade Union, the Hanoi Industrial and Export Processing Zones Trade Union.

The trade unions at the grassroots level that directly concern the termination of activities are responsible for: Handing over the seal of the Executive Committee of the grassroots trade union at the grassroots level to the competent authority in accordance with the provisions of law; financial settlement and handover of records, documents, and assets of the trade unions at the grassroots level directly above the grassroots level according to the instructions of competent authorities; handing over the grassroots trade unions in operation to the Hanoi City Labor Federation in accordance with regulations; resolving the rights and obligations of the grassroots trade union at the grassroots level that directly concern the termination of operations with relevant organizations and individuals in accordance with the provisions of law, the Charter of the Vietnam Trade Union and the Guidelines for implementing the Charter of the Vietnam Trade Union.
