Effectively organizing activities to provide practical material and spiritual care for union members and employees, ensuring that all union members and employees have a joyful, meaningful, warm and united Tet with their families and loved ones - that is the main goal that all levels of trade unions in Ninh Binh province aim for.
Ms. Le Thi Bich Ngoc - Head of the Policy and Law Department (Ninh Binh Provincial Federation of Labor) shared that every year, when Tet comes, Spring comes, it is the time when all levels, sectors, organizations and enterprises organize many activities to take care of the lives of workers to enjoy Spring and celebrate Tet, focusing on ensuring the regime and policies on salary and Tet bonuses.
According to Ms. Ngoc, one of the outstanding activities of the trade unions at all levels on this occasion is the organization of the program "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan Ung Deng". The program is organized centrally at the grassroots and upper-level levels in accordance with the actual situation, attracting a large number of union members and workers to participate.
This year, the grassroots trade unions will focus on organizing the program "Tet Sum Vay - Spring Thanks to the Party" in enterprises with many union members and employees, enterprises that can arrange resources, and enterprises facing difficulties in production and business.
As for the Labor Federations of districts, cities, and industry unions and equivalents, they will focus on organizing in industrial parks, industrial clusters, places with a large number of union members and workers and favorable conditions for union members and workers to participate.
Trade unions at all levels will also organize activities to visit, give gifts, and wish New Year to union members and workers on the occasion of Lunar New Year 2025, especially union members and workers who are still facing difficulties, have low incomes, suffer from serious illnesses, occupational diseases, have work accidents, are underemployed, have lost their jobs, or are owed wages and bonuses...
At the same time, organize activities to celebrate Spring, welcome Tet, visit and encourage union members and workers who are unable to return home to celebrate Tet. The activities are organized to ensure warmth, joy, and bear the mark of the union.
"Organizing practical and effective Tet care activities for union members and employees will affirm the role and responsibility of the Trade Union organization in caring for union members and employees, creating motivation and encouragement for union members and employees to work with a high sense of responsibility and efficiency, improving labor productivity, product quality, and solidarity to build agencies, units and businesses that are increasingly developing. At the same time, it will strengthen the trust and connection between union members and employees and the Trade Union organization" - Ms. Ngoc shared.
1,200 Tet gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances
Mr. Tran Kim Long - Vice Chairman of the Ninh Binh Provincial Federation of Labor said that with the motto that all union members and workers have Tet, the "Tet Sum Vay" program this year organized by the Provincial Federation of Labor will attract about 1,000 union members and workers to participate.
"We have mobilized resources and prepared 1,200 gifts (each worth VND800,000, including VND500,000 in cash and VND300,000 in-kind gifts) and 1,000 in-kind gifts, worth VND300,000 each) to give to union members and workers in difficult circumstances," said Mr. Long.
In addition, the Ninh Binh Provincial Federation of Labor also organized about 30 booths to provide essential services, display and introduce products with characteristics of regions and localities in the area. According to statistics of the Ninh Binh Provincial Federation of Labor, up to now, there have been 308 enterprises operating in production and business in the province with 102,724 employees, reporting on Tet bonuses for workers. Of which, the highest bonus for the Lunar New Year is 21.6 million VND/person and the lowest is 100,000 VND/person. The highest bonus for the Lunar New Year At Ty is 100 million VND/person and the lowest is 300,000 VND/person.
