The Trade Union of the Department of Security Industry (H08, Ministry of Public Security) has just organized the program "Tet reunion - Spring sharing", meeting and giving Tet gifts to trade union members in particularly difficult circumstances on the occasion of the 2026 Lunar New Year.
Attending were Comrade Major General Luu Hong Quang - Secretary of the Party Committee, Director of Department H08; Comrade Senior Colonel Le Hoai Anh - Deputy Director of Department H08; Comrade Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Thanh Hien - Deputy Head of the Trade Union of the People's Police (CAND).
According to Major Tran Xuan Lam - Head of the Trade Union Committee of Department H08, the total number of Trade Union members of Department H08 is 2,580 members, operating in 7 grassroots trade unions. In 2025, trade union levels in Department H08 organized Tet care activities for 2,543 turns of workers with an amount of 1.37 billion VND; organized "Tet Bus Trips" arranging cars to pick up and drop off 350 union members; supported train and bus tickets for 500 union members and workers returning to their hometowns for Tet and returning to work after Tet with a total amount of over 600 million VND.
During the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026, the Trade Union of Department H08 organized practical care activities for union members and workers in difficult circumstances. Nearly 1,000 union members benefited from care activities, with a total amount of nearly 420 million VND.
In which, organizing for 100 union members in particularly difficult circumstances to participate in the "Online Tet Market" implemented by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (each union member in difficult circumstances was given 500,000 VND to buy goods on the "Online Tet Market" system); organizing for 90 union members in particularly difficult circumstances at grassroots units to attend Tet Sum vay; meeting, giving gifts to union members in difficult circumstances and attending "Trade Union Meal - Welcoming Spring 2026" organized by the People's Public Security Trade Union. At the Program, each union member in difficult circumstances was given a Tet gift bag and 1 million VND, the total value of the amount of money union members were cared for was 103.5 million VND.
The Trade Union of the Department advised and organized the Program "Meeting and Giving Tet Gifts" for 100 trade union members in difficult circumstances and 10 students who are children of officers, soldiers, and workers in particularly difficult circumstances on the occasion of the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year. Each union member/student was awarded 500,000 VND and 1 Tet gift bag worth 250,000 VND. The total value of care is 82.5 million VND...
Major General Luu Hong Quang - Secretary of the Party Committee, Director of H08 Security Industry Department acknowledged and highly appreciated the Tet care activities of Binh Ngo that the Trade Union of H08 Department has implemented.
Major General Luu Hong Quang requested that in the coming time, levels in Department H08 continue to promote the achieved results, coordinate with Party committees and unit leaders to organize good patriotic emulation movements; organize many practical activities to care for materials, cultural and artistic activities for workers.
The Trade Union of Department H08 needs to proactively grasp the thoughts, aspirations, life and ideological developments of union members and workers, promptly advise the Party Committee and leaders of the Department to propose appropriate solutions, effectively handle arising problems, contributing to stabilizing ideology and creating cohesion in the unit" - Major General Luu Hong Quang emphasized.
Also in the program, the Trade Union of Department H08 organized a lucky draw game with 21 gifts awarded to workers in difficult circumstances.
