On January 30, the Trade Union Committee of Industrial Parks and Economic Zones of Lao Cai province organized the program "Tet Sum vay - Spring of Gratitude to the Party" in 2026, to care for the lives of union members and workers.
Attending the program were Mr. Phan Huy Cuong - Vice Chairman of Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation; leaders of the Trade Union Board of Industrial Parks, Lao Cai Provincial Police; representatives of Cam Duong ward, Lao Cai ward trade unions; along with leaders of local departments and branches and more than 90 union members and workers from grassroots trade unions in the area.
Speaking at the opening, Mr. Hoang Tuan Hai, Deputy Head of the Trade Union of Industrial Parks and Economic Zones of Lao Cai province, informed about the results of trade union activities and the CNVCLĐ movement in 2025, and the directions and tasks for 2026.
Over the past year, the contingent of CNVCLĐ of the Trade Union of industrial parks and economic zones of the province continued to develop in quantity, improve in quality, meeting the requirements of the province's construction in a civilized and modern direction. The material and spiritual life situation of workers is increasingly improved.
Mr. Hoang Tuan Hai emphasized that the "Tet Sum vay - Spring of Gratitude to the Party" Program is a deeply humane activity, showing the concern of the Party, State, Trade Union organization and the whole society for union members and workers, especially those in difficult circumstances.
At the program, Mr. Phan Huy Cuong, Vice Chairman of the Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation, acknowledged and highly appreciated the results that the Trade Union Committee of industrial parks and economic zones has achieved in 2025, especially in taking care of life, jobs, and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers.
Also according to Mr. Phan Huy Cuong, "Tet Sum vay" has become an annual activity of practical significance, thereby affirming the role and responsibility of the Trade Union organization in accompanying workers, contributing to spreading the spirit of solidarity and sharing in society.
On this occasion, the Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation awarded certificates of merit to individuals and collectives with outstanding achievements in the past year.
At the same time, the Trade Union Committee of industrial parks and economic zones of Lao Cai province has provided funding to care for union members and workers with a total amount of about 700 million VND; and at the same time provided support to 90 union members, each person 1 million VND in cash and 1 gift bag worth 500,000 VND.
The activity shows the practical concern and care of the trade union organization for union members and workers, promptly encouraging workers' spirits before the New Year, contributing to helping workers feel secure at work and welcome a warm Tet.
