Kien Giang - Female union members in the medical industry are happy and moved when they have a new, stable house, no more renting a house.

On February 26, the Kien Giang Provincial Federation of Labor organized the handover of the Trade Union Shelter to union member Nguyen Thi Dieu Hien (born in 1982) of the Chau Thanh District Medical Center Trade Union. Ms. Hien has been working since 2008.

Sharing about her family situation, Ms. Hien said that she is raising her elderly parents, past working age, her mother has stage 4 kidney failure and many other diseases, and her young child is still in school. With a monthly income of 7.1 million VND, Ms. Hien cannot have extra to build a house by herself.

"I dream of having a decent house for my parents to live in, making my old age less difficult, and giving my children a convenient place to study. Up to now, living in a rented house has caused many inconveniences, but due to difficult circumstances, we have to try to save a little, Ms. Hien confided.

Thanks to the Trade Union's support of 50 million VND and the family's contribution of 50 million VND, Ms. Hien was able to complete her long-standing dream house. After receiving the handover of the new house, Ms. Hien expressed her joy that her dream for many years has come true, no longer having to rent a house.

At the handover ceremony, Permanent Vice President of the Kien Giang Provincial Federation of Labor Pham Van Dang also sent his congratulations to Ms. Hien's family for having a stable house, without having to spend money to rent a house, reducing previous difficulties and inconveniences. Mr. Pham Van Dang also encouraged Ms. Hien to try to overcome difficulties, strive to fulfill her tasks well, and build an increasingly better life.

Sharing the joy with Ms. Hien's family, the Provincial Federation of Labor also gave a gift to celebrate the new house.
