Recently, a working delegation of the Tan Hiep District Labor Federation (Kien Giang) visited, wished a happy New Year and presented over 200 gifts to union members and workers at grassroots unions under the Tan Hiep District Labor Federation with a total value of over 100 million VND.
At each place visited, Chairwoman of Tan Hiep District Labor Federation Nguyen Thi Kim Khoe sent greetings, encouragement and New Year wishes to union members and workers. Thereby hoping that all union members and workers will strive to perform well the assigned tasks, contributing with the unit and enterprise to achieve the targets and plans for 2025.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Khoe said: The Standing Committee of the District Labor Federation has directed all levels of the Union to step up survey activities, grasp the living conditions, salaries, and Tet bonuses of union members and workers. Timely organize activities to visit and give gifts to support union members in difficult circumstances. Thereby, the Tan Hiep District Labor Union at all levels has given over 2,600 gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances with a total amount of over 1.2 billion VND.
"The gifts show the affection and concern of the Trade Union organization in taking care of the lives of union members and workers in difficult circumstances on the occasion of Tet, to help them have a happy and warm Tet holiday," Ms. Khoe emphasized.
In addition, union officials provided guidance and support for union members to buy gifts on the online "Union Tet Market" software deployed by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor with a total value of nearly 23 million VND.
In addition, the District Labor Federation also presented 14 gifts worth 7 million VND and supported the livelihood of the militia and self-defense force in Thanh Tri commune with 5 million VND in the 2025 Military-Civilian Tet activity.
