Because she constantly has to solve work urgently, the time is calculated in days or even hours: "Many jobs the boss requires must be solved in exactly 1 hour, it cannot be longer because it is related to other departments. If I don't finish any work that day, I have to bring the computer home to work and not leave it until the next day."
Ms. Thiet said that in the state environment, almost every important job requires everyone to be present. Every meeting, the female employee has to prepare a lot of paperwork and takes a long time, lasting all morning.
However, in the private environment, only when work is really important do we need to meet. It is not necessary to be present in large numbers, many times just need to hold an online meeting, the documents are simply a laptop and a notebook.
In addition, according to Ms. Thiet, the proposal of solutions for the work is done quite quickly, easily, and does not take as much time as before.
"I propose any problems, if approved, the company head will immediately approve them for implementation. Any important issue that needs to be considered will only last one to two days. At state agencies, the characteristics and properties are different, so we have to wait a few days, even a week" - Ms. Thiet said.
The results of the work at the private enterprise are immediately recorded, the hot reward immediately will be highly effective, not the end of the month or the end of the quarter. At the state agency, the female employee said that the result must go through many reviewers, just a person who disagrees is not recognized.
Ms. Thiet shared that when she first entered, she may not have adapted to the new environment immediately, but these differences are an advantage. The female employee commented that the private environment is very suitable for those who dare to change, dare to think, dare to do, and do not want to be dependent.
Listening to the confessions of a close friend working in a private enterprise, Mr. Nguyen Van Thanh (30 years old) - Secretary of the Commune-level Youth Union in Nam Dinh province - shared that he was quite worried if he moved to an environment outside the State to work.
In private enterprises, my friend said that we must continuously contribute opinions to complete work and develop the company. Each person has their own KPI (work performance measurement index), that KPI is evaluated by the results that create actual revenue for the company" - Mr. Thanh said.
When he learned that non-state enterprises attach importance to working capacity, Mr. Thanh was quite worried. Because, if he had to work professionally, the current knowledge in the state environment could not meet the requirements, and Mr. Thanh still lacked many skills.
The male Secretary of the Commune Youth Union said that the work related to the website, photo editing, social networks, and information technology is quite vague. Meanwhile, these basic skills are almost all understood by non-state environmentalists.
The more he researched the groups carefully, the more worried he became when he saw the strange job described by the employers. The issue of age also makes Mr. Thanh afraid because many businesses currently only prioritize people under 30 years old.
To adapt, the male officer said that he is learning a foreign language and how to use social networks and websites. In the coming time, Mr. Thanh plans to invest in high-confficiency computers to learn more about AI (artificial intelligence) and other software to meet his work requirements.
