At the conference, leaders of Hai Phong Newspaper and Radio and Television and the Executive Committee of the Trade Union of the implementing agency signed a commitment to implement the "Socialist Grassroots Trade Union" model for the period 2026 - 2030, with key contents on caring for union members' lives, building a democratic and civilized working environment, launching emulation movements and improving the quality of trade union activities.
Speaking to direct, Mr. Nguyen Quang Phuc - Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee of the City Party Committee - highly appreciated the proactiveness of the Hai Phong Newspaper and Radio and Television Trade Union in implementing the "Socialist Grassroots Trade Union" model. To make the model truly effective, vibrant and spreading, it is necessary to raise awareness and responsibility of the entire political system in the agency; promote the spirit of proactiveness and self-awareness of each union member and worker.
The Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee of the City Party Committee requested the Hai Phong Newspaper and Radio and Television Trade Union to continue to concretize the criteria suitable to the specific characteristics of the press agency; pay attention to caring for the material and spiritual life of union members and workers, building a united, humane, and sharing working environment. Along with that, promote the companion role of the trade union organization in encouraging officials and union members to actively innovate and create, apply information technology, digital transformation, improve the quality of information and propaganda work; continue to spread good people, good deeds, good and effective ways of doing things, contributing to promoting the image of Hai Phong being dynamic, modern, and integrated.
Within the framework of the program, the Hai Phong Newspaper and Radio and Television Trade Union organized the 2026 Voluntary Blood Donation Day. The festival attracted nearly 100 officials, union members, and workers to participate. The Board of Directors and the Trade Union of Hai Phong Newspaper and Radio and Television agencies commended and presented gifts to 16 typical union members representing trade union groups actively participating in voluntary blood donation.
On this occasion, the City Labor Federation presented the Trade Union of Hai Phong Newspaper and Radio and Television Agency with 1 set of sports equipment worth 100 million VND to serve the needs of physical training, improving the cultural and spiritual life for union members and workers.
