To celebrate the 79th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs' Day, on the morning of July 25th, the Can Tho City Labor Federation (LDF) coordinated with the People's Committee of Vi Thanh Ward to organize a delegation to visit and present gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mother Tran Thi Toi (107 years old) and Mother Tran Thi To (88 years old) - who had husbands, children and siblings who bravely sacrificed themselves in the resistance war against the US for national salvation.

At the families, Ms. Le Thi Suong Mai - Chairwoman of the Can Tho City Labor Federation cordially inquired about the health and life of the Mothers; expressed her gratitude and deep appreciation for the great sacrifices and losses that the Mothers and their families have made for the Fatherland. Those contributions will forever be a bright symbol of patriotism, a source of strength for today's generations to continue building and protecting their homeland and country.
Ms. Le Thi Suong Mai affirmed that caring for people with meritorious services and policy families is not only a responsibility but also the sentiment and morality of "When drinking water, remember the source" of the nation. City Trade Union levels will continue to pay attention with practical actions, contributing to policy families always being cared for, shared and warmed.

On this occasion, Ms. Le Thi Suong Mai respectfully wished the Mothers always good health, peace, and longevity with their children and grandchildren; wishing the Mothers to always be a sacred flame inspiring patriotism, sacrifice and revolutionary spirit for generations of union members and workers today and in the future.
