The Vietnam Rubber Trade Union is currently managing 60 affiliated trade unions, including 57 grassroots trade unions and 3 trade unions directly above the grassroots level with a total of 48,633 union members.
In the first 6 months of 2025, trade unions at all levels visited and encouraged 15,096 workers in difficult circumstances with a total amount of more than 15.25 billion VND; Supported 284 loan cases with a total amount of 3.525 billion VND.
During the Lunar New Year 2025, the Vietnam Rubber Trade Union has provided support to 3,481 union members and workers in difficult circumstances with a total amount of VND 3.481 billion. Trade unions at all levels have visited and presented gifts to 43,309 people with a total amount of over 28 billion VND. The units have carried out social work with an amount of more than 6.4 billion VND to support units in the area during the Lunar New Year, taking care of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers.
During the Workers' Month and the Month of Action on Labor Safety and Hygiene in 2025 with the theme "Thank you to workers", the Vietnam Rubber Trade Union awarded the title of "Excellent Vietnam Rubber Workers" to 174 individuals; supported 5.4 billion VND for the "Union Shelter" program; 1 billion VND for cultural institutions, union lighting; visited and presented gifts to 84 workers with work-related accidents with a disability rate of 31% or more; presented charity houses to union members and workers with difficult housing circumstances... The total budget for implementing Workers' Month in 2025 is 7.5 billion VND.
Along with that are the programs "Propaganda, raising awareness of union members and workers"; "May Dialogue"; Thank you to workers" and "Union Meal"; "Workers for the Community" and the Forum "Party with Workers - Workers with the Party".
Mr. Huynh Kim Nhut - Chairman of the Vietnam Rubber Trade Union - said that in the coming time, the Vietnam Rubber Trade Union at all levels will continue to focus on performing well the task of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers; participating in building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations in the unit; focusing on improving working conditions, building a happy, close and humane working environment; promoting the tradition of mutual love and affection in the rubber industry; ensuring occupational safety and hygiene, caring for material and spiritual life, and fully implementing policies for union members and workers.
At the same time, promote propaganda and mobilize union members and workers about the policies of the Vietnam Rubber Industry Group and the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor in the process of innovating and streamlining the apparatus of the political system to be streamlined and efficient. Coordinate with the professional team to resolve issues arising in the process of streamlining the organization and apparatus, reducing the indirect labor ratio, and eliminating intermediate management (agricultural level) of the Vietnam Rubber Industry Group and its member units.
Launch emulation movements for good workers and creative workers, raise awareness of saving raw materials and production costs, reduce product costs, fight waste and negativity. Strengthen research and application of science and technology in production, improve productivity, quality, and labor efficiency, promote digital transformation, modernize governance and production processes, and focus on investment in technology. Strive to achieve and exceed the targets assigned by the Party and the State, achieving the double-digit growth target according to the direction of the Government.
