On October 18, the Thanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor (LDLD) announced that the Hoang Hoa Commune Trade Union had just held its 1st Congress, term 2025 - 2030. The Congress was attended by leaders of the Provincial Federation of Labor, local leaders and 96 delegates representing more than 5,800 union members from 17 affiliated grassroots unions.
The Hoang Hoa Commune Trade Union was established on July 1, 2025 according to the Decision of the Provincial Federation of Labor Standing Committee. Since its establishment, the Trade Union has focused on directing the work of propagating and mobilizing workers, civil servants and laborers to effectively implement the Party's guidelines and the State's laws and policies; innovate the content and forms of activities in accordance with the grassroots reality.
100% of grassroots trade unions have built Facebook and Zalo pages to connect, propagate, and effectively organize cultural and sports activities, taking care of the spiritual life of union members.
The activities of representing and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers are carried out synchronously and with quality. Grassroots trade unions coordinate with employers to effectively implement democratic regulations, organize labor conferences, periodic dialogues and negotiations, and sign collective labor agreements.
The work of caring for and welfare union members and developing new union members has been focused on, contributing to building a strong union organization.
Speaking at the Congress, Comrade Le Chung Van - Member of the Standing Committee, Deputy Head of the Provincial Federation of Labor's Trade Union Work Committee acknowledged the efforts of the Hoang Hoa Commune Trade Union in the past time, and at the same time requested the unit to continue to innovate, improve operational efficiency, perform well the task of representing, caring for and protecting the rights of workers, and promote the patriotic emulation movement.
The Congress announced the decision to appoint the Executive Committee, Inspection Committee and key positions of the Hoang Hoa Commune Trade Union for the 2025 - 2030 term, in which Comrade Nguyen Thi Thuy - Vice Chairman of the Hoang Hoa Commune Fatherland Front Committee was appointed to hold the position of Chairman of the Hoang Hoa Commune Trade Union.
