On July 10, the Labor Federation (LĐLĐ) of Quang Ngai province said that it had just organized a ceremony to announce the admission of union members and establish grassroots trade unions in the western region.
At the ceremony, the Provincial Labor Federation announced decisions to admit 113 grassroots trade union members; announced decisions to recognize the Executive Committee and positions in the Executive Committee of term I, term 2026 - 2030 for 6 grassroots trade unions.
The units include: Construction Quality Appraisal Center, under the Department of Construction; Golden Tay Nguyen Security Trading and Service Co., Ltd.; Kon Tum Fertilizer Joint Stock Company; Quang Giang Transport Co., Ltd.; Green Forest Kon Tum One Member Co., Ltd. and Hanh Tam Medical Co., Ltd.
Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation Dinh Quoc Tuan congratulated 6 newly established grassroots trade unions. Requesting the Executive Committees of grassroots trade unions to quickly develop operating regulations, catch up and effectively implement activities.
At the same time, continue to promote the spirit of solidarity, enthusiasm, actively launch emulation movements, build an increasingly strong trade union organization, and excellently complete all assigned tasks.
On this occasion, the Provincial Labor Federation presented gifts to support 15 union members in difficult circumstances; each gift worth 1 million VND.
Kon Tum Ward Trade Union is currently managing 39 grassroots trade unions, with 1,943 union members out of a total of 2,203 officials and employees working in agencies, public service units, and businesses in the area.
The establishment of the Kon Tum Ward Trade Union in the western area of the province aims to improve the effectiveness of representing, caring for and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers.
