News from the Da Nang City Labor Federation on August 26 said: representatives of the Trade Union of Viet - Han Da Nang Hospital (under the City Labor Federation) organized a delegation to visit, encourage and donate 4 million VND to support 2 mothers and children in particularly difficult circumstances, who have to be treated at the hospital at the same time and have no relatives to take care of them.
The mother is Ms. Nguyen Thi Nga (born in 1969), currently being treated at the Department of Cardiology. She suffers from high blood pressure and many accompanying diseases such as type 2 diabetes with complications, dyslipidemia, nephrotic syndrome, enteritis, pneumonia and hypoalbuminemia.
With exhausted health and blurred eyes, Ms. Nga had to lie on her spot and could not perform personal activities on her own.
Her son, Mr. Tran Thanh Tam (born in 1985), currently being treated at the General Internal Medicine Department, was diagnosed with acute cerebral hemorrhage of the left hemisphere, paralysis of the right half of his body.
The mother and daughter are permanently residing in An Binh ward, Can Tho city. When both of them fell ill, had to be treated in 2 different departments and had no relatives on duty, the difficulties in daily care and living became even more compounded.
Faced with this special situation, in addition to professional work, the team of doctors, nurses and medical staff at the departments have regularly cared for and supported the mother and child in daily life and care.
The Trade Union of Vietnam - Korea Da Nang Hospital has supported 4 million VND to share some of the difficulties with the two patients. Previously, the Social Work Group and the Nursing Department of Vietnam - Korea Da Nang Hospital also supported the mother and child with 2 million VND.
The gifts and care of the team of doctors and staff of Viet - Han Da Nang Hospital are of practical significance, a source of spiritual encouragement for patients in difficult times.
Through this activity, the Trade Union of Viet - Han Da Nang Hospital continues to promote the role of connecting kind hearts, together with the Hospital's collective to spread sharing, contributing to making patients less difficult and not feeling lonely on the treatment journey.
