On September 22, the grassroots trade union of Olam Gia Lai Co., Ltd. Branch (under Pleiku Ward Trade Union, Gia Lai) said that it had organized the awarding of "Ofi YES" scholarships in 2026 and Mid-Autumn Festival gifts for children of officials and employees working at the company.
This year's "Ofi YES" scholarship program awarded a total of 213 million VND to 73 children of officials and employees with excellent academic achievements or facing financial difficulties.
In addition to awarding scholarships, the program organizes Mid-Autumn Festival for 132 children of officials and employees of the factory.
At the branch of Olam Vietnam Co., Ltd. in Quy Nhon (under the Trade Union of Quy Nhon Tay Ward), 72 students who are children of union members and workers in difficult circumstances were awarded the "Ofi YES" scholarship in 2026, with a total amount of 266 million VND.
Scholarship levels are divided by level of education. College and university students receive 5 million VND/student; high school 4 million VND/student; secondary school 3 million VND/student; primary and kindergarten 2 million VND/student. Children with disabilities are supported with 5 million VND/student.
Mr. Vinod Ghanesh - Director of Olam Vietnam Co., Ltd. Branch in Quy Nhon - said that the program aims to recognize learning efforts and encourage children to continue pursuing their dreams.
This is also an activity to support workers in difficult circumstances, helping them feel secure at work.
According to Mr. Vinod Ghanesh, every year the company allocates funds to support union members and workers' children to continue going to school, while demonstrating responsibility to the community and contributing to nurturing future human resources.
