On December 5, the Quang Ngai Provincial Federation of Labor announced that the Trade Union of Kon Ray Forestry One Member Co., Ltd. has just held its 6th Congress, term 2025-2030.
The Company's grassroots union currently has 70 union members, most of whom work in production teams and specialized departments, responsible for managing and protecting more than 29,490 hectares of forest. The average income of workers reaches 10.13 million VND/person/month, contributing to stabilizing life and creating motivation to complete assigned tasks well.
During the 2023-2025 term, the Company's Trade Union activities recorded many positive results. The union has coordinated with the professional team to fully maintain regular workers' conferences and dialogues, without arising labor disputes; 100% of union members are eligible to participate in social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance.
Social security work has been well implemented, with a total mobilized amount of more than 163 million VND to support people in need, prevent natural disasters, the Fund for the Poor and other charity programs.
During the Lunar New Year, the Union took care of union members with a total budget of more than 38 million VND; The work of improving spiritual life was also focused on, with 4 sightseeing and learning trips organized during the term.
Emulation movements such as "Good workers, creative workers", "Green - clean - beautiful", "Skilled mass mobilization in forest protection" have been effectively maintained. Continuously in 2023 and 2024, the grassroots trade union was ranked as Excellent in completing tasks.
Entering the new term, the Trade Union of Kon Ray Forestry One Member Co., Ltd. set goals to maintain 100% of union members participating in studying resolutions and legal policies; 100% of female union members achieving the title of "Good at public work - Good at home work"; 100% of union members participating in emulation movements and cultural - sports activities.
Every year, introduce 12 outstanding union members to the Party for consideration of training; regularly organize sightseeing and learning activities for union members; ensure that 100% of workers receive periodic health check-ups; every year, the grassroots union completes its tasks well or better.
The Congress elected the Executive Committee of the Trade Union of Kon Ray Forestry One Member Co., Ltd. for the 6th term, 2025-2030 term, consisting of 5 members; elected the Inspection Committee of 3 members. Mr. Dao Ngoc Lanh, Deputy Director of the Company, was elected as Chairman of the grassroots Trade Union, term VI.
At the Congress, the Executive Committee of the grassroots Trade Union awarded Certificates of Merit to 7 individuals with outstanding achievements in the 2023-2025 term.
