This is a practical activity within the plan to promote digital transformation of the Provincial Trade Union, contributing to the effective implementation of the National Digital Transformation Project and the digital transformation program of Lao Cai province.
Speaking at the opening of the conference, Mr. Vu Cao Minh, Permanent Vice President of Lao Cai Provincial Federation of Labor, emphasized: Digital transformation is an inevitable trend, playing an important role in improving the quality of trade union activities, reforming administrative procedures and serving union members and workers better and better.
To meet new requirements, each cadre, civil servant and public employee needs to proactively equip themselves with digital knowledge and skills, especially the ability to access and use artificial intelligence (AI) tools in daily work.

At the conference, delegates received a seminar on "Enhancing awareness of artificial intelligence (AI) and the utilities of AI tools in service of work".
The reporter presented an overview of AI development trends in the country and the world; analyzed opportunities and challenges for trade unions when applying AI; and provided instructions on how to exploit some popular AI tools to support document drafting, data processing, media content design, work management and labor productivity optimization.
Through practical examples and hands-on experiences on computers, learners can experience how to operate AI applications, thereby clearly understanding the value that AI brings in processing records, synthesizing reports, making work plans, digital communication and improving the quality of consulting - operation.

The conference also spent time discussing and answering questions related to information security, data security when using AI tools; principles of AI exploitation in the environment of state agencies; as well as orienting the application of AI in the trade union system in the coming time.
At the end of the program, the leaders of Lao Cai Provincial Federation of Labor suggested that each cadre participating in the training continue to research, practice and apply the knowledge they have learned to work to improve management and operation efficiency, contributing to promoting the digital transformation roadmap of the agency, building an increasingly modern and professional trade union organization, meeting the requirements in the new period.
