On October 3, the Trade Union of Rochdale Spears Company Limited said that the unit had coordinated with the company to organize a Mid-Autumn Festival lantern making contest for officers and employees at the facility in Tan Khanh ward, Ho Chi Minh City.
Attending the program, joining the workers was Ms. Dang Thi Kim Chi - Member of the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation.
Participating in the contest, workers in the company are divided into teams. Each team was supported by the organizing committee with 500,000 VND to prepare items for making lanterns.
The company supports additional costs for decoration, stage, lion dance, performances, food, drinks...
The teams competed in making Mid-Autumn Lanterns and organizing exhibitions, scoring, and awarding prizes.

At the end of the contest, the lanterns of the teams were presented by the organizing committee to the children of union members and workers in difficult circumstances in the company.
Mr. Truong Thanh Dung - Chairman of the Company's Trade Union - said that the contest is a cultural activity and an opportunity for union members and workers to express their creativity and talent. Through the beautiful and unique lanterns, it shows the ingenuity and sophistication of each participating worker.

"Workers and company leaders have fun, relax and bond together. This contest has created beautiful and warm memories for union members and workers," said Mr. Truong Thanh Dung.
Previously, to encourage workers, the Trade Union and the company presented 3,210 moon cakes to union members and workers.
