8,000 gifts to children of union members
On the evening of September 22, at the City Labor Culture House, the Da Nang City Labor Federation organized the "Mid-Autumn Festival Night" program for children of union members and workers in difficult circumstances in the city. This is one of the practical care activities on the occasion of the 2026 Mid-Autumn Festival.
Mr. Le Van Dai - Standing Vice Chairman of the Da Nang City Labor Federation said: This Mid-Autumn Festival, the City Labor Federation will give 8,000 gifts to children aged 5 to 15 who are children of union members and workers working at agencies, units, and enterprises with affiliated trade union organizations.
Priority subjects include children in difficult circumstances, disabled, suffering from dangerous diseases, orphaned, whose father or mother has a workplace accident...
Each gift is worth 300,000 VND (100,000 VND in cash and a gift worth 200,000 VND), with a total budget of up to 2.4 billion VND. The gifts are distributed to commune and ward trade unions, grassroots trade unions and grassroots trade unions to be handed directly to children.
At the "Mid-Autumn Festival Night" program on the evening of September 22, there were up to 300 children participating. A joyful and bustling atmosphere with special art performances, lion dances, magic and colorful Mid-Autumn Festival feasts.
The children enthusiastically participated in quizzes with Uncle Cuoi and Sister Hang, breaking the feast together and receiving gifts. Laughter and joy from meaningful gifts helped the Mid-Autumn Festival evening for children become particularly meaningful.
The second program will take place at 6:00 PM on September 24th at the City Culture - Cinema Center (Ban Thach ward), also with a scale of 300 children participating.
Night Festival for Workers' Children
Mr. Le Van Dai said: In addition to the two Mid-Autumn Festival programs, the Da Nang City Labor Federation also coordinated with the Department of Health and Hoa Khanh Ward People's Committee to organize another night of festival exclusively for workers' children at Hoa Khanh Industrial Park, Lien Chieu Industrial Park and High-Tech Park, along with children in special circumstances in Hoa Khanh ward.
The program will open at 6:30 PM on September 23rd at the Hall of Hoa Khanh Ward Administrative Center (No. 168 Nguyen Sinh Sac).
Here, 300 Mid-Autumn Festival gifts (including 50 gifts supported by the City Charity and Child Protection Association, 250 gifts supported by the City Labor Federation) will be presented.
At the same time, 30 scholarships worth 1 million VND/scholarship are reserved for children with achievements in overcoming difficulties and striving in their studies.
Through these activities, the Da Nang City Labor Federation wishes to share difficulties, bring joy and motivation to children of union members and workers.
