The Supervisory Delegation of the City Labor Federation has supervised the implementation of legal regulations in 2025 at A Viet Insurance Company Limited.
At the meeting, the delegation focused on supervising the implementation of the provisions of the 2019 Labor Code, the Trade Union Law, the Social Insurance Law, and the Labor Safety and Hygiene Law. Speaking at the supervision session, Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Anh - Vice President of the City Labor Federation emphasized: "supervision activities are one of the important functions of the Trade Union organization, in order to protect the legitimate and legal rights and interests of workers.
Through supervision, the Trade Union not only discovered and requested businesses to overcome limitations and violations but also accompanied and supported businesses to comply with legal regulations, build harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations, contributing to the socio-economic development of the locality".
It is known that, implementing Plan No. 124/KH-LDLD of the City Labor Federation on organizing supervision according to Decision No. 217-QD/TW of the Politburo in 2025, the Federation has established a monitoring team led by Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Anh, to conduct supervision at 5 enterprises in the area.
The monitoring content focuses on signing and implementing labor contracts; salary regimes, working and resting hours; periodic health check-ups; occupational safety and hygiene; the payment of funds and union fees; payment of policies for employees... At the same time, the delegation also recorded feedback and recommendations from enterprises and grassroots unions.
The results show that the majority of enterprises strictly implement legal regulations, ensuring the rights of employees. However, there are still cases where some enterprises owe to pay union fees, are late in paying social insurance, have not conducted periodic dialogues, and have not built grassroots democracy regulations.
Based on the monitoring results, the City Labor Federation recommends that businesses urgently overcome the shortcomings, strictly implement legal regulations, enhance dialogue, collective bargaining, and build a safe and sustainable working environment for the benefit of both employees and employers.
