On September 17, the Da Nang City Labor Federation said that the survey team to build a strategy for adapting and developing Vietnam Trade Unions in the new situation of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor had a working session with the Da Nang City Labor Federation. The working session focused on the situation of labor relations, workers and trade union activities in the area.
Mr. Le Van Dai, Permanent Vice President of the City Labor Federation, chaired the meeting. Representatives of the city's departments, branches and sectors, along with grassroots trade unions in industrial parks and high-tech zones attended. The two sides discussed the implementation of the task of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and legal rights of union members and workers. At the same time, they discussed the work of attracting, developing union members and establishing grassroots unions.
The meeting also identified the advantages, challenges and impacts on the organization and operation of the Trade Union in the new situation in Da Nang.
Previously, on the morning of September 16, the survey team directly worked with Murata Manufacturing Vietnam Co., Ltd. The purpose is to grasp the actual situation of labor relations and the work of caring for the lives of workers of grassroots trade unions.
It is known that the survey on labor relations, workers and trade unions in localities aims to study and identify new context. From there, assess the advantages, challenges and impacts on the activities of the Vietnam Trade Union. This is the basis for determining the strategic and long-term orientation on the organization and operation of Trade Unions, especially in protecting the rights of workers and developing union members and grassroots trade unions in the context of international integration.
