News from the Da Nang City Labor Federation on August 1st said: The City Labor Federation organized a working session to guide workers of Hoa Khanh Textile Joint Stock Company (Hoa Khanh Industrial Park) to complete dossiers to continue suing businesses to claim outstanding salaries and severance allowances.
Previously, after many requests for businesses to pay salaries for November, December 2023, January and February 2024 and severance allowances but have not been resolved, 117 workers were supported by the Trade Union to prepare dossiers requesting labor mediators to resolve personal labor disputes.
This is a mandatory procedure before suing according to the provisions of law.
Directly supporting workers to complete dossiers to continue suing businesses to demand wages and severance allowances owed this time is Ms. Le Thi Ngoc Oanh - Deputy Head of the Trade Union Committee of Industrial Parks, along with officials of the Trade Union Committee of Industrial Parks.
At the hall, each set of dossiers was reviewed, compared and guided to supplement fully. Cases where documents are still missing or encountering problems were explained and specifically guided by Trade Union officials.
According to the procedure, after the labor mediator resolves the matter, if the mediation fails, the Da Nang City Labor Federation will continue to support employees to file lawsuits according to legal regulations to protect the rights of employees who have been violated for a long time.
This is the second phase that the Da Nang City Labor Federation has guided workers of Hoa Khanh Textile Joint Stock Company to sue. In phase 1, 62 workers who had judgments were paid more than 1.8 billion VND.
