Putting workers at the center
News from the Da Nang City Labor Federation on April 18 said: Within the framework of the program of visiting and working in Vietnam, a high-level working delegation of the Mongolian General Confederation of Labour had a working session with the Da Nang City Labor Federation to exchange experiences, strengthen cooperation in the field of trade unions and care for the lives of workers.

At the working session, Ms. Phan Thi Thuy Linh - Chairwoman of the Da Nang City Labor Federation introduced a general overview of the socio-economic development situation of the city, trade union activities in the past time, especially models of caring for and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers.
Many practical programs such as "Tet Sum vay" (Reunion Tet), "Workers' Month", housing support, and improving union member welfare... have been effectively implemented, contributing to strengthening workers' trust in the trade union organization.
Ms. Phan Thi Thuy Linh emphasized that in the context of deep international integration, expanding cooperative relations with international trade union organizations, including the Mongolian General Confederation of Labour, is of great significance.
Through this, the two sides can exchange experiences, learn good models and effective ways of representing and protecting the rights of workers, and at the same time contribute to further tightening the traditional friendly relationship between the two countries.
Representatives of the Mongolian General Confederation of Labour expressed their impression of the outstanding results of the Da Nang trade union organization, especially the activities towards grassroots levels, putting workers at the center.
Agree to continue to maintain delegation exchanges
The Mongolian General Confederation of Labour said that in the past time, the Mongolian General Confederation of Labour has also focused on innovating operating methods, improving the quality of representation, and protecting the rights of workers in the context of many economic fluctuations.

At the working session, the two sides exchanged and discussed contents such as: improving the quality of dialogue and collective negotiation; developing union members in the non-state sector; applying technology in union member management; organizing welfare activities, caring for the material and spiritual life of workers.
At the same time, it was agreed to continue to maintain delegation exchanges, share information and experiences, towards building specific cooperation programs in the coming time.
The working session took place in an open, sincere and effective atmosphere, contributing to strengthening mutual understanding and trust between the two trade union organizations.
This is also a practical activity to implement policies on people-to-people diplomacy, promoting cooperative relations between trade unions of Vietnam and Mongolia to become increasingly sustainable.
Also within the framework of the working trip to Da Nang city, the delegation of the Mongolian General Confederation of Labour visited and worked at 29/3 Textile and Garment Company to learn about the actual production and business activities and the work of caring for the lives of workers at the enterprise.
At the working session, leaders of 29/3 Textile and Garment Company gave a general introduction about the formation, development, production situation as well as policies for employees.
Businesses always focus on improving working conditions, increasing income, ensuring regimes and benefits, and building a stable and friendly working environment.
Speaking here, representatives of the Mongolian General Confederation of Labour highly appreciated the production organization model associated with caring for workers of the company, especially the role of grassroots trade union organizations in accompanying businesses. At the same time, they expressed their desire to continue to have more opportunities to exchange and learn experiences in the coming time.
