On August 21 and 22, the Da Nang City Labor Federation organized the announcement of the decision to establish 2 grassroots trade unions at Chau Do Joint Stock Company (Tho Quang Seafood Service Industrial Park) and Tan Quoc Co., Ltd. (Hoa Khanh Industrial Park), admitting 54 union members.
At the ceremonies, the Da Nang City Labor Federation announced decisions to admit union members, establish grassroots trade unions and appoint the Executive Committee of grassroots trade unions at two enterprises.
Accordingly, Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong Hai was appointed to hold the position of Chairman of the grassroots Trade Union of Chau Do Joint Stock Company; Mr. Phan Truong Thach was appointed to hold the position of Chairman of the grassroots Trade Union of Tan Quoc Co., Ltd.
Speaking at the conference, representatives of the leadership of the Da Nang City Labor Federation oriented a number of key tasks for the Executive Committee of the grassroots Trade Union.
In which, focusing on building a strong trade union organization, strengthening propaganda and mobilizing workers to join the Trade Union organization; proactively grasping the thoughts and aspirations of union members and workers; effectively performing the function of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of workers.
The establishment of 2 more grassroots trade unions in industrial parks contributes to expanding the coverage of trade union organizations in enterprises, improving the rate of employee gathering.
This is also the basis for the Trade Union to accompany businesses in building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations.
When put into operation, grassroots Trade Unions will promote their role as a bridge between workers and employers, promptly taking care of the lives, representing and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers.
At the same time, coordinate with the Board of Directors of enterprises to organize emulation movements, contributing to improving production and business efficiency and building sustainable enterprise development.
