On February 5, the Dak Lak Provincial Labor Federation said that the unit had just issued a plan to organize "Trade Union Meals" combined with gifts on the occasion of the Action Month for Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) and Workers' Month 2026 throughout the province.
The plan is implemented on the basis of implementing the guidelines and plans of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and the Standing Committee of the Provincial Labor Federation...
This is also an opportunity for trade union organizations, employers and employees to strengthen dialogue, share, listen to thoughts and aspirations, thereby building harmonious and stable labor relations.
According to the Provincial Labor Federation, the "Trade Union Meal" activity is not only of material significance but also contributes to creating an atmosphere of solidarity and cohesion between workers and businesses and trade union organizations.
The program is required to be organized practically and effectively, attracting a large number of union members and workers to participate, creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere at the workplace. In which, priority is given to caring for cases of difficult circumstances, low income, occupational accidents, occupational diseases, critical illnesses or affected by natural disasters, job loss.
The value of meals in the program will be increased compared to normal days, on the basis of adding support from trade union finance (maximum 50,000 VND/meal) and other socialized sources (if any).
In addition to meals, grassroots trade unions will integrate many meaningful activities such as speaking to encourage workers, propaganda on OSH, organizing dialogues, recruiting new union members, establishing grassroots trade unions...
Gift-giving activities are also widely deployed, targeting union members and workers in particularly difficult circumstances, low incomes or heavily affected by natural disasters and diseases.
Mr. Nguyen Phu Lap, Vice Chairman of the Dak Lak Provincial Labor Federation, hopes that through this series of activities, the provincial trade union will continue to consolidate trust and strengthen the connection between workers and trade union organizations and businesses. At the same time, spread the spirit of sharing and responsibility throughout society towards the labor force.
It is expected that the activity will be implemented at 11 commune and ward trade unions in the area, with a total budget of about 350 million VND, including gift-giving funds and organizing "Trade Union Meals".
