Not only meeting and grasping the operating situation at units, trade union leaders also directly go to the production site to encourage workers working outdoors in hot weather.
At the program, the Trade Union of Lang Son Power Company presented 2 gifts to the collective of workers of Huu Lung Power Company and Chi Lang Power Company.
Each gift is worth 5 million VND in cash along with necessities to serve daily life and support workers in harsh weather conditions.
According to a representative of the unit, the activity of caring for workers in "Workers' Month" is a program maintained annually to promptly share and encourage officials and employees, especially those who directly work at the scene.
This year, Lang Son Power Company plans to organize visits and gifts to 12 affiliated power units and 46 individuals in difficult circumstances, who have suffered labor accidents... with a total budget of more than 97 million VND.
