(Bau Xeo Industrial Park, Trang Bom District) to accept employees to return to work under the signed labor contract; Pay salaries for days when employees are not allowed to work, compensate 2 months' salary; pay social insurance, health insurance, unemployment insurance for employees... with a total amount of more than 750 million VND.
This is a case where workers were consulted and provided with legal support from the Trade Union Legal Advice Center (Dong Nai Provincial Federation of Labor) from the beginning and sent union officials to represent them according to their authority to protect the legitimate rights and interests of workers.
According to the employee's application, Mr. Trung was recruited to work at San Lim Furniture Vietnam Co., Ltd. from October 1, 2006 under an indefinite-term labor contract.
On January 1, 2020, the labor contract was re-signed without determination, Mr. Trung's job was agreed in the labor contract as the 5-level Manager of Veneer Department.
After that, since 2021, Mr. Trung was transferred to be the senior manager of the 2 Veneer departments. The basic salary before quitting is more than 17 million VND/month.
During his work, Mr. Trung always completed the assigned tasks, without violating the company's rules. However, on April 9, 2022, the company held a disciplinary meeting against Mr. Trung, concluding that the disciplinary measure was dismissal.
On April 12, 2022, the company issued a department conversion certificate, accordingly transferring Mr. Trung from the position of level 2 manager of Veneer department to level 5 manager of Resin department, without a transfer deadline.
