From July 1, the new Gia Lai Provincial Federation of Labor (LDLD) was officially established on the basis of merging the old Binh Dinh Provincial Federation of Labor and the old Gia Lai Provincial Federation of Labor.
Immediately after its establishment, the new Gia Lai Provincial Federation of Labor has urgently improved the organizational apparatus and developed directions and tasks for Trade Union work in the last 6 months of 2025.
According to Decision No. 3753 of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee and key positions of the Gia Lai Provincial Federation of Labor for the 2023-2028 term have been appointed. Specifically, Mr. Ha Duy Trung holds the position of Chairman of the Gia Lai Provincial Federation of Labor; 2 Vice Chairmen are Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Thuy and Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Thuy.
The members of the Standing Committee include Mr. and Mrs. Duong Le Hong Thuy, To Hong Nguyen, Nguyen Duc Long, Nguyen Tuong Khanh, Chau Hong Nhi, Truong Thi My Le. The members of the Executive Committee include Mr. and Mrs. Le Thi Ngoc Oanh, Vo Bich Thao Vy, Nguyen Thi Anh Xuan, Nguyen Thi Lan Phuong, Le Thanh Sy.
The personnel of the Inspection Committee (IC) of the Gia Lai Provincial Federation of Labor include: Mr. To Hong Nguyen holding the position of Head of the IC; members of the IC are Ms. Le Thi Ngoc Oanh, Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Dieu, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hai and Ms. Chu Thi Thuoc.
Mr. Ha Duy Trung - Chairman of the Gia Lai Provincial Federation of Labor - said that in the last 6 months of the year, in addition to advantages, trade union activities still face many difficulties and challenges.
In that context, the Gia Lai Provincial Trade Union has quickly stabilized the organizational apparatus, continuing to perform well the functions and tasks of the Trade Union organization, associated with the theme of activities in 2025: "Focus on developing union members; participating in building a clean and strong Party".
The Gia Lai Provincial Trade Union will focus on caring for, representing, and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers; deploy measures to detect and prevent labor disputes, collective work stoppages and participate in timely and effective handling, contributing to ensuring security and order in the locality.
Continue to promote the organization of negotiation and signing of collective labor agreements (CLAs), improve both the quantity and quality of CLAs with more beneficial provisions for employees; carry out occupational safety and hygiene work; launch the movement "Green - Clean - Beautiful, ensure occupational safety and hygiene".
The provincial trade union also focuses on replicating practical models of caring for the material and spiritual lives of union members and employees; implementing union welfare programs; organizing management and supporting loans to solve employment, creating stable income for employees.
In particular, the Provincial Federation of Labor will organize well activities to take care of the 2026 Lunar New Year with the motto "All union members and workers have Tet" and the program "Union Tet Market"...
