Dak Nong - In recent times, the Gia Nghia City Labor Union has promptly grasped the concerns, cared for and protected the legitimate interests of union members and workers.

On June 16, the Gia Nghia City Labor Federation announced that the unit had just successfully organized the 7th Executive Committee Conference (expanded), term 2023 - 2028.

In the first 6 months of 2025, the city's trade unions at all levels have effectively implemented the work of protecting the rights of union members and workers.

The Executive Committee of grassroots trade unions regularly propagates the Party's guidelines, policies and laws of the State and implements instructions from higher-level trade unions.

Trade unions at all levels in the city have proactively coordinated with the government to organize conferences for civil servants and labor conferences, achieving high results.

100% of grassroots trade unions in the administrative - career sector organize conferences for civil servants and 7/16 enterprises organize conferences for workers.

The union also regularly participates in inspecting and supervising policies for union members and workers.

The City Labor Federation has successfully organized the Tet Sum Vay - Xuan On Party program, giving more than 236 gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances with a total value of over 142 million VND from support sources.

In addition, grassroots trade unions also participated in the Trade Union Tet Market program, with 245 union members registering and receiving support of more than 122 million VND.

The work of developing union members and improving the quality of activities of trade union organizations has always received attention.

In the first 6 months of the year, the City Labor Federation organized a training course for 145 union officials. The grassroots union executive committee has introduced 17 outstanding union members for the party committee to consider admitting.

With the results achieved by the Executive Committee of the Gia Nghia City Labor Federation in the first 6 months of the year, Mr. Phan Thanh Thai, Vice President of the Dak Nong Provincial Labor Federation, acknowledged and commended.

Mr. Thai emphasized a number of tasks that need to be focused on, such as grasping the concerns of union members in the process of merging administrative units, paying for union finances, and supporting the care of union members' rights.
