On the morning of June 27, the Ha Tinh Provincial Labor Federation organized a preliminary review of Trade Union activities in the first 6 months of the year and deployed tasks for the last 6 months of 2026.
In the first 6 months of 2026, Trade Union levels have focused on performing the function of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers; promoting patriotic emulation movements, contributing to the successful implementation of political tasks of localities, units and businesses.
In the first 6 months of the year, 327 grassroots trade unions coordinated with businesses to organize dialogues at workplaces; 105 grassroots trade unions coordinated to organize periodic health check-ups for 28,126 union members and workers; 95 grassroots trade unions negotiated with business owners to increase the amount of meal allowance for workers.
Through employee conferences and dialogues at the workplace, hundreds of opinions and recommendations from employees have been resolved by employers, contributing to building stable, harmonious, and progressive labor relations in enterprises and in agencies and units.
Many new collective labor agreements have been signed, 122 collective labor agreements have been re-signed due to expiration or amendments and supplements with many clauses that are more beneficial to workers.
The Trade Union organization strengthens inspection and supervision of compliance with labor laws, wages, and occupational safety and health at enterprises in the area. Proactively participate in and resolve issues arising in labor relations.
The work of caring for the interests of union members has achieved positive and outstanding results. The whole province has mobilized more than 9.8 billion VND to care for and support more than 36,800 turns of union members and workers.
In which, the Provincial Labor Federation awarded 1,847 gifts to 1,847 union members and workers with a total amount of over 1.8 billion VND. Granted support for building, renovating, expanding, and repairing 17 "Trade Union Shelter" houses with a total amount of 535 million VND.
Grassroots trade unions have mobilized more than 7.3 billion VND to support over 35,000 turns of union members and workers; of which support from experts and company and business leaders accounts for about 50%.
Regarding union member development and establishment of grassroots trade unions, as of June 15, 14 new grassroots trade unions have been mobilized to be established (reaching 45% of the target) and 3,075 new union members have been developed (reaching 100.8% of the target).
Besides the achieved results, Trade Union activities in the first 6 months of the year in Ha Tinh also have some shortcomings and limitations.
At the conference, many delegates shared experiences in trade union activities of their units to achieve efficiency in caring for and protecting the rights and interests of union members and workers.
Many delegates also raised the current situation of lack of housing for workers, lack of daycare facilities near industrial parks and clusters, lack of clean water... hoping for attention and removal to meet the legitimate and practical needs of workers.
Speaking to direct the conference, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Dong - Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ha Tinh province acknowledged and praised the results achieved by Ha Tinh Trade Union levels in the first 6 months of 2026.
Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ha Tinh province requested that in the coming time, Ha Tinh Trade Union levels continue to promote propaganda of the Party's guidelines, policies and laws of the State to workers; promote emulation movements, perform well the function of representing and caring for union members and workers, strive to successfully complete the set targets and tasks.

According to Mr. Nguyen The Hoan, in the last 6 months of 2026, Ha Tinh Trade Union levels will continue to pay attention to taking care of the interests of union members and workers.
Continue to promote studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and style; promote propaganda of patriotic emulation movements; promote union member development, and establish grassroots trade unions.
At the conference, the organizing committee awarded certificates of merit from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor to 1 collective and 1 individual with good achievements in implementing Workers' Month 2026; awarded 50 certificates of merit from the Provincial People's Committee to 50 typical workers; awarded certificates of merit from the Ha Tinh Provincial Confederation of Labor to 6 collectives and 12 individuals.
