The Trade Union of Vietnam Post Corporation - VNPost (under the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology) has just issued a document on health care for union members and workers during the hot season of 2026.
Accordingly, the program focuses on caring for direct labor forces such as mining workers, level 1 and level 2 drivers, level 3 transport workers, postmen/local delivery staff, collection staff... These are people who regularly work in harsh weather conditions, directly affected by prolonged heat.
Grassroots trade unions will organize on-site service in the middle of shifts in practical forms such as: Supplementing soft drinks, milk, fruits, mixing cooling water to nourish workers at operating centers, post offices, production teams throughout the network.
To effectively implement the program, the VNPost Trade Union has allocated financial support of nearly 1.2 billion VND to affiliated grassroots trade unions. This is not only material support but also a great source of spiritual encouragement, adding faith and motivation for employees to feel secure in their work, attached to the unit, and strive to successfully complete assigned tasks.
Health care activities during the hot season for many years have become a beautiful feature in VNPost's trade union activities. Thereby continuing to affirm the role of the trade union organization, being a reliable support for union members and workers; always accompanying professionals in caring for life, improving working conditions and building a safe and humane working environment.
