Promoting programs to improve workers' qualifications
The Provincial Labor Federation (LĐLĐ) has just organized the deployment of tasks for 2026 and organized a seminar and health consultation on International Day of Happiness to grassroots trade unions (CĐCS) under the Industrial Park Trade Union Board.
More than 50 grassroots trade union presidents and women's committees from grassroots trade unions participated in exchanging and sharing experiences, contributing to improving the operational efficiency in industrial parks and clusters in the area.

In 2026, with the theme "Trade Union members and workers emulate innovation - promote digital transformation - improve productivity and efficiency; bring the resolutions of the Party, the Fatherland Front and the Vietnam Trade Union into life", the Provincial Labor Federation identified 10 key tasks and 3 breakthroughs.
In which, trade union levels focus on developing union members, especially in the non-state business sector; improving the effectiveness of representing and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of workers.
One of the highlights is the implementation of the "Digital Initiative" program, promoting innovation in the workforce. At the same time, emulation movements in enterprises continue to be promoted, associated with caring for the material and spiritual lives of workers and building a safe working environment.
Collective dialogue and negotiation work is identified as a key task, focusing on practical contents such as salaries, meals, working hours, rest and occupational safety and health.
In addition, the Provincial Labor Federation assigned specific targets to grassroots trade unions such as: developing union members; signing collective labor agreements; women's work; "Trade Union Meals" program; building "Trade Union Homes" and financial targets.
Notably, many specific goals were set: each grassroots trade union introduces at least 1 outstanding union member to the Party; over 85% of union members and workers are propagated about the law; at least 81% of enterprises are eligible to sign collective labor agreements; 65% of workers are improved in qualifications and professional skills.
Building a happy working environment
At the seminar in response to International Day of Happiness, delegates exchanged views on the significance of building a humane, balanced and sustainable working environment.
Representatives of the Trade Union of Tin Thinh Co., Ltd. said that in the current context, the needs of workers' spiritual and cultural life need to be improved. Upper-level trade unions need to strengthen the organization of cultural and artistic programs so that workers at the grassroots level have more playgrounds.

In addition, the need for stable housing for workers to nurture and build happy families also needs to be replicated from "Trade Union Shelter" houses, so the criteria related to house and land papers should be broader.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Ha from the grassroots trade union of Canh Dong Viet Food Joint Stock Company shared that with more than 400 workers, of which 70% are female workers, the grassroots women's committee has always focused on a happy working environment.
For Ms. Ha, a happy working environment comes not only from income but also from the timely attention of the trade union organization, appropriate policies and green and friendly working spaces.
Paying attention to the quality of life for workers so that everyone can feel the spirit of happiness is also advised by doctors of Olympia General Clinic.
In which, doctors pay attention to reasonable nutrition from meals, common diseases for workers in each industry and advise trade union officials to build a healthy lifestyle for union members.
