Within the framework of the 17th National Radio Festival - Quang Ninh in 2026 and celebrating the 71st anniversary of the Liberation of the Mining Region (April 25, 1955 - April 25, 2026), Voice of Vietnam in coordination with Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee organized the art program "Sounds of the New Era".
The 17th National Radio Festival is a large-scale professional event of the radio industry, gathering many press, radio, and television agencies across the country.

Speaking at the Opening Ceremony of the 17th National Radio Festival, Comrade Trinh Van Quyet, Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, emphasized that through historical periods, "The Voice of Vietnam" has become a sacred symbol of national independence, creating a sustainable and resilient revolutionary information flow.
In the context of information explosion and strong digital transformation, Vietnamese radio has made an important step, continuing to affirm its role as an official, reliable, and responsive information channel; contributing to orienting public opinion, spreading positive values, and consolidating the people's trust in the Party and the State.
Comrade Trinh Van Quyet requested Vietnam Radio to continue to play a pioneering role on the ideological and cultural front, maintaining the "information battlefield", contributing to protecting the ideological foundation of the Party.
Arousing aspirations for development, spreading good values, and encouraging the spirit of innovation. Promoting comprehensive digital transformation, building a multi-platform radio ecosystem; applying digital technology, artificial intelligence, big data to improve production quality, content distribution and expand public access.
Promoting the role of radio as a reliable forum for the People; strengthening the listening and timely reflection of the thoughts and legitimate aspirations of the People, contributing to perfecting policies and strengthening the great national unity bloc.

The 17th National Radio Festival took place from April 11-13, receiving the enthusiastic participation and response of 34 newspapers and radio and television stations nationwide, 2 major press centers, the Army Radio and Television Center and the Public Security Communications Department, 17 press units of Voice of Vietnam Radio and 8 major press units participating in the podcast category.
The Organizing Committee received a total of 345 works, including: 26 live radio programs; 97 podcast works; 84 reports, investigative reports; 49 ethnic minority language programs, 40 thematic programs, 28 golden voice works and 21 nominations for excellent technicians. The Organizing Committee is expected to award 220 awards in various categories.

The art program "Sons of the New Era" gathers many artists such as People's Artist Thanh Hoa, Meritorious Artist Hoang Thanh, Meritorious Artist Dang Duong, Meritorious Artist Hoang Tung, Bui Le Man and singers Truc Nhan, Hoa Minzy, Pham Anh Duy, Double 2T, Hoang Bach, Nguyen Ngoc Anh, Thu Thuy...
The program includes 3 parts: "The Sound of Origin", "The Sound of Heritage" and "The Sound of the New Era", respectively recreating the journey from traditional values to the modern breath.
The 17th National Radio Festival - Quang Ninh 2026 has the theme "Radio for a strong and prosperous Vietnam". In addition to the opening ceremony, the festival also has seminars on podcasts, radio in the digital age, exhibitions and many other professional activities.
