On July 8, the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology (CĐKHCN) said that in the first 6 months of the year, the work of building trade union organizations, improving the quality and efficiency of the work of trade union officials was concerned and focused on by the industry union.
CĐKHCN continues to innovate the content and methods of trade union activities to ensure practicality and effectiveness, and at the same time directs trade union levels to develop appropriate unit action plans, closely following the key tasks of the industry and the upper-level trade union to concretize in the work plan, closely following reality and current digital transformation requirements.
CĐKHCN develops the full-term program of the Executive Committee, the Working Regulations of the Inspection Committee and assigns tasks of the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of CĐKHCN term 1, term 2025-2030; develops a plan to deploy trade union professional training for trade union officials at all levels; and at the same time develops a plan to coordinate the organization of theoretical and professional training classes for trade union work.
Build job positions and describe job positions for cadres and civil servants at S&T agencies; develop a Plan to summarize 15 years of implementing Resolution 6a/NQ-TLĐ dated January 6, 2011 of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor on "Continuing to innovate the content, methods and improve the quality of grassroots trade union activities" and Conclusion No. 02/KL-BCH dated March 17, 2021 on continuing to implement Resolution 6a.
Preliminary report on 5 years of implementing Action Program No. 02/CT-BCH implementing Resolution of the 13th Party Congress and Resolution 02/TW on "Innovating the organization and operation of Vietnam Trade Unions in the new situation".
CĐKHCN develops plans and assigns targets for union member development to each directly affiliated trade union; promotes union member development work, propagates and mobilizes workers about union member development work.
Regularly update and report on the implementation of union member development and establishment of grassroots trade unions periodically every 6 months and for the whole year, and update union member development work on the software of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
As a result, in the first 6 months of 2026, CĐKHCN developed 233 new union members; introduced 375 outstanding union members to the Party and newly admitted 356 party members.
Direct trade union levels to coordinate with professional departments at the same level to review the team of workers, civil servants, and laborers; develop study and training plans to meet the requirements of innovation; and at the same time have mechanisms and policies to support and create conditions for officials, union members, and laborers to participate in studying and improving their qualifications.
