In 2024, the Hai Phong Economic Zone Trade Union achieved and exceeded many key targets. Of which, 47/15 grassroots trade unions were newly established, reaching 313%, and the actual number of union members increased by 19,025/18,000 (reaching 105.6%). The Zone Trade Union introduced 330/305 union members to the Party for training and admission, reaching 108% of the plan. Units signed 70/50 collective labor agreements, reaching 140%. The results of collecting union funds, union dues, and paying financial obligations to the City Labor Federation all met and exceeded the targets...
At the conference, the Hai Phong Economic Zone Trade Union launched the emulation campaign for 2025. In 2025, the Hai Phong Economic Zone Trade Union strives to complete the target of establishing grassroots trade unions and developing union members assigned by the City Labor Federation. Workers and employees have at least 30 topics awarded the Creative Labor Certificate by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor. Trade unions at all levels strive to support the construction and repair of at least 5 houses; subsidize and give gifts to 17,000 union members and workers and employees in difficult circumstances; strive to introduce at least 310 outstanding union members for the Party to consider, foster and admit.
The Zone Union also aims to complete the target of signing collective labor agreements by 2025, of which at least 60% of the collective labor agreements are of type B or higher. Along with that, successfully negotiating and signing collective labor agreements with many Korean enterprises in phase 4....
On this occasion, the Hai Phong City Labor Federation and the Hai Phong Economic Zone Trade Union commended many collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in trade union activities and the labor movement in 2024.
