At the conference, Tien Lang District Labor Federation presented the decision to establish the Ruoi craft union in Tien Minh commune, Tien Lang district, and admitted 44 union members to the Vietnam Trade Union.
Also at the ceremony, the leaders of the District Labor Federation congratulated and assigned tasks to the Provisional Executive Committee of the union; presented 44 gifts to union members.
In 2024, the District Labor Federation developed 1,933 new union members (reaching 241% of the city's assigned target); established 6/5 grassroots unions, reaching 120% of the city's assigned target in 2024. Previously, the District Labor Federation established 2 grassroots unions including the Tien Lang District Drivers' Union with 82 union members and the Vinh Quang Commune Fisheries Union with 21 union members.
Speaking at the conference, Ms. Bui Thi Ngoc - Permanent Vice President of the Hai Phong City Labor Federation praised the results of the Tien Lang District Labor Federation in establishing grassroots trade unions, grassroots trade unions, and developing union members in 2024. The achievements of the District Labor Federation greatly contributed to the results of developing union members, establishing trade unions, and trade unions of the whole city, making Hai Phong the leading locality in the country in this work.
The Standing Vice President of the Hai Phong City Labor Federation also requested the District Labor Federation to pay attention to and guide the grassroots labor union of the worm industry to operate effectively, striving to recruit more union members in the same profession. Along with that, guide the union to organize the first congress, and organize the congress within 6 months at the latest to elect the executive committee, and deploy activities to care for workers more effectively.
