In the 2023-2025 period, the Quang Ninh Social Policy Bank Trade Union has completed 100% of the set targets. The union has promoted its role as a representative, protecting the legitimate rights of union members, caring for workers' lives, implementing emulation movements, social security work and gratitude.
As of October 31, 2025, the total local budget capital entrusted to the provincial Social Policy Bank reached over VND 1,928 billion, an increase of over VND 1,180 billion compared to the beginning of 2023; total outstanding loans for policy credit programs reached over VND 6,017 billion, an increase of over VND 1,960 billion; the ratio of overdue loans and closed loans was only 0.43% of total outstanding loans.
For the 2025-2030 term, the Quang Ninh Social Policy Bank Trade Union will continue to innovate its methods of operation, focusing on the grassroots, taking union members as the center, protecting the rights of workers, improving the quality of the team, contributing to the successful implementation of the unit's tasks.
The Congress determined specific goals: 100% of union members signed emulation commitments; admitted at least 5 more union members; growth of capital and outstanding loans is on average over 10%/year, by 2030, total outstanding loans will reach at least VND 10,000 billion; the overdue debt ratio will be below 0.03%.
Speaking at the Congress, Comrade Duong Quyet Thang suggested that the grassroots trade unions continue to promote the achieved results, advise on solutions to promote credit, care for workers' rights, build programs suitable for Quang Ninh, make branches break through, and complete beyond the set targets.
With the spirit of democracy and responsibility, the Congress elected the Executive Committee of the 8th grassroots Trade Union, term 2025-2030.
